Dancehall Workshop

Come learn hot dancehall moves in a fun and positive party atmosphere! Dancehall music from Jamaica continues to change the face of music and dance internationally. Libby is a dancer, choreographer & instructor based in the Bay Area and Santa Cruz.  Libby brings tons of passion, positive vibes and energy to her classes while also teaching Dancehall history, culture and lineage.

Martin Wheeler Systema

December 1st and 2nd @ Family Martial Arts Center in Santa Rosa

Martin Wheeler is recognized as one of the world’s leading hand-to-hand combat masters. An expert in the Russian martial art of Systema as-well-as a range of the world’s most deadly martial arts. He is fourth degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, a black belt in Judo, and has studied Filipino weapon fighting and boxing. The former bouncer turned contract instructor for elite police and military units will be at Family Martial Arts Center in Santa Rosa, CA for this two day seminar. Sign up Here!

New Wednesday Classes

Dui Lian Tai Chi with Chris D.

Weds. 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Dui Lian is partner training that focuses on a variety of movement routines, hand pattern drills and posturing techniques utilizing authentic Tai Chi methods. Dui Lian tests and develops internal Tai Chi skills beyond what’s possible from solo form practice alone. Partner training is not sparring or fighting and is completely non-violent. All movements are practiced in a coordinated fashion designed to increase health, balance, relaxation and power. Kids Systema Classes

Weds. 4:00-5:00

The Russian Martial Art known as Systema focuses on Breathing, Relaxation, Structure and Movement. Through these principles kids will study the human body and its natural abilities while discovering new skills and ways of moving. This is a new class and is open to ages 7 and up.

$18 drop in or $60/month



 Donations and Support

Donations allow us to offer scholarships, sliding scale classes, and free Martial Arts and Movement events to the Sebastopol community and the greater California North Bay Area. We’d love to come perform and teach at schools, after school programs, parties, and community based events. Movement, martial arts and dance are powerful methods to unify people and cultures.
